Creative Writing

Course Overview
This creative writing course is designed to immerse students in the art and craft of storytelling.
Students will develop their unique voices and gain confidence in their writing skills by exploring various genres—including fiction, poetry, memoir, and creative nonfiction. The course combines guided writing exercises, analysis of literary works, peer review, and revision techniques to foster a supportive and collaborative environment. Students will learn to think critically about language, form, and the impact of words, with the ultimate goal of crafting compelling stories, expressive poetry, and insightful personal narratives.
By the end of the course, students will produce a portfolio that showcases their progress and creativity.
