Camera Photography Basics
Our course offerings are designed to assist homeschooled middle and high school students in discovering knowledge and skills presented in an easy-to-understand way to provide a foundation for future educational progress and career growth.
Course Overview
This introductory photography course is designed for beginners who want to understand the essentials of digital and film photography. Through hands-on practice and in-depth exploration, students will learn to operate a camera, understand exposure, composition, and lighting, and develop an eye for creating visually engaging images. The course will cover fundamental photography principles such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and white balance.
Students will also be introduced to basic post-processing techniques to enhance their photos. By the end of the course, participants will have the skills to capture, edit, and present meaningful photographs that tell a story.
