A tactical learner is often mistakenly referred to but what is meant is a tactile learner (sometimes called a kinesthetic learner). This learner learns best through physical activities, hands-on experiences, and movement.

Tactile learners prefer engaging with materials directly, like touching, building, or doing, rather than listening to lectures or watching demonstrations. They often excel in environments where they can actively manipulate objects or perform tasks to understand concepts.

Characteristics of a tactile learner include:

• Enjoying hands-on activities like drawing, crafting, or building.
• Learning better when movement is involved (e.g., acting out scenarios, writing, or using tools).
• Having difficulty sitting still for long periods and staying focused in traditional, lecture-based learning environments.
• Benefiting from learning through physical activities such as experiments, role-playing, or using flashcards.
