Course Overview

This basic accounting course introduces the fundamental principles and concepts of accounting, focusing on the understanding of financial transactions, the preparation of financial statements, and the interpretation of financial information.

Students will learn the accounting cycle, from recording transactions to preparing a complete set of financial statements, along with an introduction to assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses. The course emphasizes practical skills and knowledge essential for managing finances in both personal and business contexts.
